Kingston House is a fully licensed a-la-carte restaurant in a tropical garden paradise in the heart of Gympie,
on the Sunshine Coast. Just 35 minutes from Noosa it is an old Queenslander built in 1901.
The house has been, a maternity hospital a doctors surgery, a private home and tea rooms until its
final transformation in September 1996 to an A-La-Carte Restaurant.
Michael and Carolyn Hehir took over Kingston House in November 2005 pursuing a lifelong dream
of running their own restaurant. They share a passion for fine food and a love of hospitality and entertaining.
With its high ceilings, polished floorboards and expansive verandah for alfresco dining,
